Productdetails
The final stage of the wood where the proud club maker enjoys the experience of seeing how the finished product will look like. The head is dipped into a tin with specialised varnish which will be left to dry for a day to harden and then kept repeating multiple times. Making golf clubs is a business spanning hundreds of years. The techniques, methods and tools have changed enormously creating a wonderfully diverse subject for the artist. This small collection covers a period from before the turn of the century until 1990
