Bernard Hunt – A great British swing

Bernard Hunt – A great British swing (that could be American).

One of the great players of Britain that I have filmed and taught is Bernard Hunt, former Ryder cup player and winner of many tournaments.

wrist action

What you need to understand about the wrist action.

Few golfers realise that there are two different wrist actions in golf, and both have their part to play

More Putting Stories

Watching the tour Pro’s of today putting is fascinating. The quality of their ability to read the green, feel the speed of a glass surface and make a perfect stroke under the scrutiny of a million eyes is athleticism in its finest form. Yet I cannot help but feel a tinge of regret that the past is behind us regarding individuality.

Betsy Cullon

See Betsy Cullon's LPGA swing film 1975 in Fort Myers.

Three times tour winner Betsy demonstrates a sound swing where the leg movement is emphasized, and likewise exhibits the influence of Jack Nicklaus on her era.

Jerry Barber

Standing only 5 ft. 5 inches tall Jerry was never going to be the longest on the tour. Nevertheless he won a major (USPGA 1961) and six other titles. His swing has the strange claim (golf digest) of being the first stack and tilt action used successfully.

Steve Melnyk

- a swing with superstar qualities. See the highspeed camera film in our memberpage.

More well known for his on course broadcasting as ABC reporter some will be surprised to find Steve analysed in our film section. The Melnyk swing, inspite of an excellent amateur career, brought only one professional win. The quality of his movement would suggest the lack of achievement was more mental than technical.
